Fixed: XVidCap crash in Ubuntu 8.04

So, I had this problem with XVidCap, which I've used to make screencasts. After upgrading to Ubuntu 8.04 it started crashing whenever I wanted to record.

Thanks to this thread on ubuntuforum.org I managed to get it working again.
The trick is to turn off the sound capturing. It's not a fix per se, it's merely a workaround. But since I record the sound afterwards it's no big deal for me.
(I guess you could use Audacity in parallell to record sound and screen at the same time if you want to.)

I hope this post helps someone else to get rid of the somewhat annoying XVidCap problem.
